CLEANING THE DOOR GLASS – SIDE-OPENING MODELS
To remove the middle pane

Press the glass retainer tabs in on
both sides of the door again. The
glass retainer can then be pulled off
completely.

Gently pull the top of the pane
towards you until the top of the pane
is clear of the door frame.

Lift the pane out. The rubber
stoppers at the top of the pane
remain attached to the glass pane.
IMPORTANT!

Depending on the model, the oven door is hinged either on the left or the right.
● ●
Removing and refitting the inner pane requires at least two people. Do not attempt to
do this on your own, as you could be injured or the oven could be damaged.
● ●
Take note of the orientation of the glass panes to help ensure you replace them
correctly.
● ●
The outer pane is not removable.
● ●
Take care, the glass pane is heavy.
Place the removed glass pane on a safe, soft surface.
To remove the inner pane

Press the glass retainer tabs in on both sides of the door.

Pull the glass retainer up until the tabs relocate in the topmost hole.
IMPORTANT!
Make sure you support the glass pane so it does not fall out.

Holding the top of the inner pane, gently lift the pane up until it is clear of the front
notch at the bottom of the door and lift out. Do not angle the pane too much as you
may damage the glass.
IMPORTANT!
Make sure the second person supports the middle glass pane so it
does not dislodge when the inner pane is removed.
