Positioning the Tweeter
(All models except E73D, E72D)
Because the human ear relies heavily on high frequencies to locate sound, and because
high frequency drivers create a narrow soundfield, it is important to align tweeters pre-
cisely. Stereo imaging and surround sound effects and dialogue are greatly improved by
positioning the tweeter correctly.
To correctly position the tweeter, simply move the tweeter within its pivoting axis so
that it points toward the desired listening position. The correct location will depend on
the specifics of the listening area. The drawing below shows a stereo listening area
with correctly positioned tweeters.
