Access

The access menu item (Figure 23) is used to specify the paths that will be used to access the

EL-

1000

4GM

switch.

Ping: In order to check if the device is able to be reached in your network, you can send queries

to the device, which will send a response. The responses to these ping packets are suppressed

if you deactivate ping under access.

Device Identifier: In order to be able to identify the device in a network cabinet, it is possible

with the Device Identifier to let the Status, Fail & Ring LED flash for 30 seconds.

Settings

The time until automatic logout specifies how long a session remains in the web management

without activity until an automatic logout takes place. The time can be configured between 3 minutes

and 30 minutes.

The apply button can be used to save the settings.
