Ring structure

The

EL-

1000

-4GM

supports the Media Redundancy Protocol as per IEC 62439 (MRP ring), which

enables the system to recover from network failures within 200 ms or less. The MRP ring increases

the reliability of the network in this way. Figure 3 shows an example for use with ring functionality.

The switch can be configured as Manager and Client.
