Why Fire dampers?
Fire dampers are one of several factors
in a building that together must provide
good fire protection in the event of a fire.
The fire protection requirements are mainly
affected by building class, fire load, heat
output, air supply, the rescue service’s
response time and the presence of fire
protection technical installations. An al-
ternative to calculations or to prove that
selected solutions meet the set functional
requirements is to use P- and CE-marked
products.
Mounting
In order for the P- and CE marking to
apply, assembly must always take place
in accordance with the supplied assembly
instructions. Other details such as flexible
wall sleeve and wall to damper caulking are
ordered separately. The hole size is always
the damper di 55 mm.
Electrical connection
To be performed by a qualified electrician
according to drawings and current wiring
diagram.
