6. Operation
6.1 Using for the
fi
rst time
•
Install the equipment on a solid and level
surface.
•
Remove the ventilation screw (6).
•
Unscrew the coarse filter screw (4) using the
supplied wrench (10) and remove the coarse
filter (12) together with the non-return valve
(13) as shown in Figure 3. Now you can fill the
pump housing with water via the coarse filter
screw (4). Filling the intake line accelerates
the intake process.
•
Assemble in reverse order.
•
Open the discharge line.
•
Connect the mains cable.
6.2 LCD display and
fl
ow switch
The
fl
ow switch has a range of setting and swit-
ching options. You can select one of the four ope-
rating modes with the “MODE” button.
POWER ON MODE:
The power cable is connected and the equipment
is in standby mode.
AUTOMATIC MODE:
L = Flow sensor – the pump detects a water
fl
ow
P = Pressure sensor – the pump detects pressure
build-up
The equipment is in automatic mode and swit-
ches o
ff
automatically if the discharge line is
closed. When water is drawn again or there is
a loss of pressure, the equipment switches on
again automatically. When started up for the
fi
rst
time, the pump carries out up to 3 priming att-
empts.
TIME MODE:
Time NOW =
Current time
Time ON =
Switch-on time
Time OFF =
Switch-o
ff
time
To program the equipment, press the “SET” but-
ton. Use the “+” button and “-” button to set the
applicable time and point in time and then use
the “NEXT” button to switch between the times.
Finally, con
fi
rm the switch-on time and switch-o
ff
time again using the “SAVE” button.
The programming is now completed. Now check
for example that the discharge line is always open
during the programmed time window and that
the equipment can draw in su
ffi
cient water. The
equipment runs continuously during the set time
window. Important: Never let the equipment run
against pressure over a longer period (without
drawing water). Danger of overheating!
EVER ON MODE:
The equipment will run continuously. Important:
Never let the equipment run against pressure over
a longer period (without drawing water). Danger
of overheating!
7. Replacing the power cable
Danger!
If the power cable for this equipment is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
after-sales service or similarly trained personnel
to avoid danger.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
The equipment is almost completely maintenance
free. In order to ensure a long service life, howe-
ver, we recommend that you regularly check and
care for the product.
Danger!
The equipment must be disconnected from the
power supply (pull the power plug) prior to perfor-
ming any maintenance.
8.1 Servicing
•
If the equipment becomes clogged, connect
the discharge line to the water line and dis-
connect the suction hose. Open the water
line. Switch on the equipment several times
for approx. two seconds. This should resolve
the majority of clog-related problems.
•
There are no parts inside the equipment
which require additional maintenance.
