Please follow the order described for assembling the profiles.
Check the profiles against item numbers in the replacement part list and also according to their lengths. If not
stated otherwise, the item numbers given in brackets refer to the exploded diagram in Fig. 2.
To ensure simple assembly, proceed as follows:
1. Assembling the side halves (11 + 12)
1.1
Press the U-shaped longitudinal profile (1) onto the underside of the front section (11) and rear section
(12) and onto the top side of the front section (11).
1.2
Mount the front section (11) and the rear section (12) with the H-shaped side half connector (3).
1.3
Connect the front section (11) and the rear section (12) with the U-shaped side profile (2) and (9).
1.4
Press the hinge profile (8) onto the top side of the rear section (12).
1.5
Push the four lower corners of the assembled side panel (11+12) into the assembly corners (21).
2. Assembling hood half 1 (10a)
2.1
Push the U-shaped hood profile – front (4) onto a long side of hood half 1 (10a).
2.2
Push the U-shaped hood profile – side 1 (5) onto the short side of hood half 1 (10a).
2.3
Push hinge profile 1 (6) onto the second long side of hood half 1 (10a).
3. Assembling hood half 2 (10b)
3.1
Push hinge profile 1 (6) onto a long side of hood half 2 (10b).
3.2
Push the U-shaped hood profile – side 2 (7) onto the short side of the hood half 2 (10b).
3.3
Push hinge profile 2 (8) onto the second long side of hood half 2 (10b).
4. Connecting hood half 1 (10a) to hood half 2 (10b)
Insert one hinge clamp (20) into hinge profile 1 (6) of both hood half 1 (10a) and hood half 2 (10b) on the left
and right side.
5. Connecting the completed hood with the completed side section
Insert one hinge clamp (20) into hinge profile 2 (8) of both hood half 2 (10b) and side half 2 (12) on the left and
right side.
6. Securing hood corners (22) to the hood
Push the hood corners (22) onto both corners of hood half 1 (10a) and, working from below, tighten the screw
(25) through the hood corner and into the plastic web panel. As a result, the screw is not visible when the hood
is closed.
7. Securing the clips (24) and setting the opening
Push the clips (24) onto the side halves. Three openings can be set. Preferably, one completely opened, one
completely closed and one individually adjustable opening. The cover corners (22) are pushed simultaneously
into the clips (24).
