and/or serious injury.
Keep all safety regulations and instructions in a

6. Putting into operation
Join the 12 V connector (Fig. 1 Item 5) to the
vehicleʼs cigarette lighter socket. If there is no
cigarette lighter socket, insert the 12 V connector
(Fig.1 Item 5) in the 12 V socket of the adapter cable
(Fig.1 Item 6). Then connect the pole clamps (+/-) to
the corresponding poles of the vehicleʼs battery.
Fit the required drive bit onto the square drive mount.
Set the hammer-action screwdriver to the correct
direction of rotation.
Apply the drive bit to the screw head and press the
ON/OFF switch.
Carefully insert the bolt or nut in the thread before
you actuate the electric screwdriver. A torque of
approximately 40-50 Nm per pulse is generated on
standard bolts of size M12/M14. On motor cars, each
bolt should be tightened with two pulses. Each bolt
should then be checked with one additional pulse. A
total torque of between 120 and approximately 150
Nm is thus achieved.
Three pulses are recommended on heavy vehicles
(e.g. luxury cars, off-road vehicles, etc.). Each bolt
should then be tightened in diametrically opposed
order with one additional pulse. A total torque of
approximately 170 - 230 Nm is thus achieved.
Check the threaded connections for signs of damage
after tightening.
Important!
Always tighten and check wheel nuts with a torque
wrench set to the torque specified by the
manufacturer of the vehicle in question.
