Important!
The digital detector is ideal for detecting objects
in drywalls of max. 50 mm.
Important!
For design reasons, the suitability of the digital
detector for detecting objects in stone and brick
walls is restricted.

5. Before starting the equipment
Inserting batteries (Fig. 1)
•
Turn off the equipment using the ON/OFF
button (4)
•
Open the battery compartment cover (5).
•
Connect the battery (a) to the plug, ensuring

again, making sure that it locks securely
6. Operation
Danger!
•
The tool cannot provide a one hundred per-
cent guarantee of safety. In order to eliminate
possible dangers it is necessary to take
precautions by checking other sources of in-
formation such as building plans, photos from
the time of construction, etc., before starting
any drilling, sawing or routing work in walls,
ceilings or floors.
•
Whenever any material is detected in the wall,
a check must always be made as to whether
the material concerned is a live cable.
•
Work is only allowed to be performed in the
area of electric cables if the power supply has
been disconnected. If in doubt, contact an
electrician or personnel with similar qualifica-
tions.
•
Beams and supports are generally spaced
at regular intervals behind walls or ceilings.
Electric cables and water pipes on the other
hand, for example, are spaced irregularly.
Check the spacing of objects before you start
working on walls or ceilings.
•
It is possible for measurement errors to occur
depending on the characteristics of the sur-
face involved.
•
The identified object may actually be wider
or narrower than shown on the display. This
varies according to the depth.
6.1 ON/OFF switch
Press the ON/OFF button (4) to switch the equip-
ment on and o

6.3 Calibration
The equipment needs to be calibrated for the
characteristics of the search area before each
measurement (wall,
fl
oor or ceiling). Calibration
needs to be repeated every 60 seconds in order
