Configuration Parameters

Z-Wave products are supposed to work out of the box after inclusion. As this is a life safety device we strongly recommend that you don’t change the 

configuration parameters as this may effect the performance of the product.

Limitations of the Z-Wave System

1. Alarms are not wirelessly interlinked to each other.
2. Only the initiating Alarms will sound.
3. The Z-Wave protocol is not a life safety protocol and should not be relied upon for life safety.
4. If your internet connection is lost, communication from your 3rd party controller (i.e. to cloud or mobile devices) may not be 

possible. Your Alarm will still continue to operate as a stand alone Alarm and does not rely on an internet connection to do so.
