High-capacity Input Feeder (HCIF)

Using both hands, lift it slightly to remove it from the printer.

Remove any shipping tape and spacers.

6–7

Skip to step 8.

Repeat steps 3–5 for the lower
media tray.

Lock the two casters on the bottom
of the HCIF.

Attention

The casters must be locked
so the unit does not roll
unexpectedly while in
operation.

Turn off the printer, and then disconnect the power cord and all interface
cables from the printer.

With another person’s help, lift
the printer.

Do not tilt it more than 10° in
any direction at any time.

WARNING!

Your printer weighs approximately 77 lbs (35 kg) fully assembled.
Be sure to have help when lifting and moving it.
