SPECIFIC INFORMATION
- Cooking surfaces become very hot and may remain that way for a few minu-
tes, do not touch them immediately.
- Place the appliance on a surface that is resistant to heat.
- To prevent heat accumulation, do not place the appliance directly under a
cabinet. Make sure it is not hot and that there is enough space around it.
- Beware of the steam that comes out when the baking section is opened.
- The appliance is not designed to operate with an external timer or an inde-
pendent remote control system.
- Do not place the appliance near or under curtains and other flammable
materials!
- There is a risk of fire and electric shock to all electrical appliances and may
cause personal injury or death. Follow all safety instructions carefully.
- If the power cord is damaged. It must be replaced by the manufacturer or a
specialized agent to avoid any damage.
- Before plugging in the appliance, check if the voltage indicated on the label
on the bottom of the appliance matches the voltage of the local network.
- Combustible clay fuels or similar should not be used with this appliance.
- Keep the power cord away from any hot surface.
- Never leave the appliance running without supervision.
- This appliance is not designed to prepare foods that are not sandwich.
- Once the cooking surface has cooled, always clean the appliance after
using it.
- Always unplug the appliance after use.
- Never use sharp or abrasive objects on the cooking surface, as this could
damage the non-stick surface.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Before using the appliance for the first time, clean the cooking surface with a
damp cloth and dry it with a dry cloth, paper, etc. Then pour a few drops of
oil or butter on the surface and plug in the appliance to preheat the surface
for 5-10 minutes.
This operation is only necessary the first time, it is not necessary to repeat it
every time.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. After cleaning the surface, plug in the appliance. The red light will come on
while the surface is preheating.
2. Close the lid without anything inside, while heating the surface and prepa-
ring the sandwich.
3. When it is already at the correct temperature point, the red light will go out.
4. Put the sandwich inside and close the lid with the lock.
5. During toasting, do not open the top cover interrupting the cooking time.
6. The cooking time is approximately 6 ~ 8 minutes and will vary according to
the composition of the dough;
7. Use wooden or plastic tools (such as a small spoonful) to remove the
product. Sharp and hard metal tools should not be used.
8. After use, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool.
CLEANING
- Always unplug the appliance to clean it.
- Allow the cooking surface to cool before cleaning.
- Remove excess oil with a paper towel.
- For food scraps, use a plastic or wooden spatula. Do not use metallic or
sharp elements.
- Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning products as they may damage
the non-stick cooking surface.
- You must use a sponge or a soft, damp cloth.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids, or rinse it under the
tap.
- You can clean the device from the outside with a damp cloth.
