Making a bag from a bag roll
-Place the appliance on a flat, dry surface and plug it into the mains socket.
-Cut a length of bag material from the roll a few centimetres longer than the
length of the item you intend to seal. Be sure to cut the bag material in a straight
line.
-Open the lid by pressing down on both side locking buttons and place one open
end of the bag material on the sealing strip.
-Close the lid by pressing down on both ends of the front of the lid to ensure it is
securely locked.
You should hear each side click into place.
-Press the Seal Only button to start sealing.
The red indicator light will illuminate as the appliance seals the end of the
bag and then go out when the sealing process is complete.
-After the red indicator light goes out, press the locking buttons on the sides of
the appliance to unlock the lid. Remove your bag.
NOTE: The appliance cannot work with bag rolls wider than 28 cm.
Preserving food with the bag
-Place the food you wish to seal into the bag.
Allow at least 5 extra centimetres between the contents of the bag and
the top of the bag.
Make sure that the end of the bag that will go into the vacuum channel is
clean and free of any food pieces, liquids as these could prevent proper
sealing.
-Press the locking buttons on the sides of the appliance to open the lid and
position the open end of the bag over the vacuum channel.
