Getting started
Here are the step-by-step instructions for using the router to share
the Internet for multiple PCs. (assuming that you have power on
the modem and the router.)
1.
Cabling installation: Connect the Ethernet cable from the
router’s WAN port to the WAN port of the modem. Connect
the Ethernet cable from the LAN port (either port 1, 2, 3 or 4)
to the Ethernet socket on the PC.

Check to make sure that the LINK LEDs are lit. This will
confirm that you’ve made the cable connections correctly.
3.
For the simplest case, configure your PC to automatically
obtain an IP address from the router.
