Whether your desired temperature can actually be reached
depends on the ambient conditions. The room temperature
remaining above the set temperature is normal.
To activate this function mode, press the mode button until the
cooling
symbol appears on the displays. When the cooling
mode is set the compressor will start in approximately three
minutes.
Set the thermostat by using the Up and Down buttons. The
thermostat is adjustable between 61°F - 86°F in one degree
increments. You can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius by
pressing the ºC / ºF Button.
During the Dehumidifying mode, the unit will condense water out of
the air and exhaust it through the exhaust hose. The ambient
temperature in the room will probably drop by a few degrees while
using the Dehumidifying mode.
To activate the Dehumidify Mode, press the mode button until the
dehumidifying
symbol appears on the displays. Please note
when changing modes there is an approximate three minute
transition time.
During the Sleep Mode, the air conditioner gradually increases the
set temperature in cooling mode, decreases the noise level and
conserves energy. In Sleep mode the temperature is maintained
for one hour. In the next 2 hours the temperature is gradually
increased by 1°F per hour. After the second hour the temperature
remains the same.
To activate the Sleep Mode, press the sleep button (moon) until the
Sleep symbol appears on the displays. The fan speed is set to
low and cannot be altered. At any time you can cancel by pressing
the sleep button (moon) on your remote control.
In this mode, the air condition is set to run at the optimum
comfortable temperature. When the automatic mode is selected
the cooling function stops when the temperature is below 74°F.
The cooling function and low fan speed starts when the
temperature is between 74°F – 78°F Cooling function and medium
fan speed starts when the temperature is between 78°F – 81°F.
Cooling function and high fan speed starts when temperature is
above 81°F. To activate the function mode, press the MODE
button on the remote control until the Automatic
symbol
appears.
