- Connect the heat pump to a suitable electric power supply. The voltage must correspond to the
machine's nominal voltage.
- Connect the ground.
- Depending on the location, install any required lightning-proof devices.
- Protect the circuit with a suitable circuit breaker or fuse.
- The power cable and the signal cable must not come into contact. Otherwise interference with the
control signals may occur.

- Fill the pool with mains water. Avoid using well water which may have variable and unknown
characteristics. If you cannot use mains water, use the EDG anti-scaling product that will prevent any
possible discomfort.
- Clean the pool, the skimmer and pump pre-filters and backwash the filter.
- If the sand in the filter is more than five years old, replace it or clean using a filter anti-scaling agent by
EDG range.
- Adjust the pH to 7 – 7.4 using EDG PH – or EDG PH +.
- Add the MOONCAL by EDG anti-scaling agent.
- Proceed with shock treatment using EDG liquid active oxygen (1 litre per 10m3).
Always observe the filtering times according to the temperature in order to save the disinfecting
products.
Always stop the pump before working on the filter valve and then switch it on again.
