CONNECTING TO THE WATER SUPPLY
Inside the drum you will
find water inlet pipes.

Connect the angled
end of the pipe to
the threaded electro-
valve inlet located at
the rear of the
machine.
b
Connect the other
end of the pipe to the
water inlet and tigh-
ten the nuts.
We recommend that
your wastewater plum-
bing installation include
a fixed standpipe with
and overall height bet-
ween 50 and 70 cm
above floor level.
Avoid folds and bends
in the drain pipe and
make sure that it is not
too tight.

CONNECTING TO THE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY
Consult the specifications
plate located on the port-hole
before connecting to the elec-
tricity supply. Make sure that
the voltage supplied to the
plug corresponds with that
indicated on the plate.
IMPORTANT
It is very important that the washing machine be connected to a good-quality earth installa-
tion. The electrical installation, plug, socket, fuses or automatic switch and meter must be
designed to withstand the maximum power setting indicated on the specifications plate.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by one with the same reference number,
only available from an authorised service centre. On built-in washing machines, the mains
plug must be accessible after installation.
It is important that the elbow of the drainpipe is well fitted into the stand pipe to avoid any
risk of it falling out and causing flooding. If your washing machine is equipped with a hot
water inlet, connect one end of the red threaded pipe to the hot water tap and the other to
the electrovalve with the red filter. The washing machine is to be connected to the water
supply network using the new supply pipes provided with the appliance. The old water
supply pipes are not to be used. For correct functioning of the washing machine, the water
network pressure must be between 0.05 and 1 MPa (0.5 - 10 Kgrf/cm
2
).
