• Avoid blocking the opening of the vacuum cleaner while in use. Turn off and
unplug power cord before removing wedged or caught objects. Keep clothing,
hair, hands and other body parts away from vacuum opening while in use.
• Do not use product without a properly installed dust bag.
• Replace dust bag at regular intervals. failing to do so will affect the
product’s performance, and may result in permanent damage.
• Keep vacuum cleaner level when vacuuming stairs and risers. make sure
there is sufficient cord length at all times.
• Use only as described in manual. Use manufacturer’s recommended
parts.
• Do not put any objects into openings. Do not use with any opening
blocked. Keep free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce air flow.
• Turn off all controls before unplugging.
• Do not use with damaged cord or plug. if appliance is not working as it
should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water,
return it to BioTech Research for service.
• This product was built to accommodate 120V. Using another voltage will
damage product. See wire and grounding instructions on pg. 4.

How to Change the Belt
CAUTION:
first, unplug the vacuum cleaner from the
electrical outlet.
1. Turn the unit over and remove the
bottom plate.
2. Remove the brushroll and the worn
or broken belt from the brushroll
pulley and the motor drive shaft.

3. Loop the new belt around the motor
drive shaft and the brushroll.

4. Reinstall the brushroll back into the
housing. Turn the brushroll by
hand, making sure the belt is not
twisted and all rotating parts move
smoothly. (photo 3)
5. Reinstall the bottom plate.
NOTE:
To ensure maximum cleaning effi-
ciency, the belt should be checked regularly to
be sure it is in good condition. Check to see if
the belt is stretched, cracked, or if excessive
slipping has occurred. Replace if needed.
