Connection
The application works with ZL-RC02 module, which has a built-in Bluetooth 4 module,
so there is no need to pair the module with a smartphone or tablet.
The task of the application is to facilitate the management and control of multiple modules and their operation.
Change of name
To change the module name, connect to the selected module. Then press the [CHANGE NAME] button,
then enter the new device name in the yellow "New device name" field. The name may contain only letters, numbers
and additional characters "minus" and "underscore". After entering the name, press the [SET] button.
The device name will be changed and the device will be disconnected and the device will return to the list.
Then search for the device again.
Pin code
The application remembers individual PIN codes for modules in the database located in the device on which it is running.
This is needed to automatically select the correct PIN depending on the device to which you are connecting.
Each change of the PIN code in the device causes a change of the saved PIN code in the database.
Because the module does not inform the application about whether it has changed the PIN code,
the application assumes that the password change has been successful and the new PIN code is saved in the database.
The PIN must be exactly 8 digits.
The yellow field above the [USE PIN] button should contain the current PIN for the connected module.
If there is no PIN in this field, we can enter it manually and press [USE PIN].
This means that from now on the application will use the new PIN for connections.
The [DOWNLOAD PIN] button can be used to download a PIN saved in the database.
The read PIN code will be entered into the field,
but for the application to use the new PIN code, press the [USE PIN] button.
Changing the PIN code
To change the PIN code, make sure that the correct PIN code is entered in the yellow field above the [USE PIN] button.
Then press the [CHANGE PIN] button. We only provide the new PIN in the form that appeared. After entering the new PIN code,
press the [SET] button. The PIN will be set and disconnected from the device just like after changing the name.
Walls
The application allows you to group devices into "walls". This makes it easier to filter those needed from all those
that are currently visible. To assign a device to a selected wall,
connect to it and then select the correct position from the list of walls.
If the required position is not there, create it in the wall wizard,
which is located below the [DOWNLOAD PIN] and [USE PIN] buttons.
After creating a new position, select it from the list of available walls and assign the device to the wall in this way.
You do not need to perform any additional operations.
You can delete the wall from the database. Performing this action will free all devices assigned to it. From now on,
they will only be visible when browsing all visible devices.
Navigating
After selecting the device from the list, the module control interface is shown and an attempt is made to connect to it.
If the connection with the module fails, the application returns to the device list. When establishing a connection,
the selected buttons are not active. Only after a successful connection is it possible to control and configure the module.
To move the mechanism, hold the large button with the white triangle.
The button should be held until the mechanism reaches the required position.
If the technical conditions make it impossible to maintain communication with the module,
it will automatically disconnect and return to the list of devices.
