electrocardiograph remain powered on for approximately half an hour; meanwhile, check
whether the battery capacity changes as indicated by the battery symbol.

Connect the electrocardiograph to the AC mains again and check whether the power light
turns orange.
If any failure is detected, refer to section 5.8 "Troubleshooting" for details.
NOTE:
Don’t perform the check when using battery for power supply only. Before the check, read
the User Manual carefully about the warnings on battery.
5.4 Checking Network
1.
Connect the electrocardiograph to the DMS via wired or wireless network.
2.
Switch on the electrocardiograph.
3.
Check if the network symbol at the notification bar indicates the electrocardiograph is
connected to the network.
If any failure is detected, refer to section 5.8 "Troubleshooting" for details.
5.5 Checking Output Interface
Connect a keyboard or mouse to the electrocardiograph and switch on the electrocardiograph;
check whether the USB ports function properly.
If any failure is detected, refer to section 5.8 "Troubleshooting" for details.
5.6 Testing DE12 ECG Board
1)
Make sure the fault is not caused by wrong connection, defective electrode or main board.
2)
Open the upper casing. See the procedures described in Chapter 6.
3)
Power the electrocardiograph with AC mains and switch on.
4)
Measure the voltage to earth of the following test points by using a multimeter.
5)
Compare your measurements with the reference result in the table below. If any measurement
