When using electrical appliances, the basic safety rules

specified below must be followed to reduce the risk of fire,

electric shock and personal injury:

1. Read and keep these instructions.
2. Before plugging in the fan, ensure that the voltage of the

mains corresponds with that indicated on the label at the

back of the unit.
3. Never insert any type of object through the grill of the

appliance.
4. Adults must use extreme caution when using the fan

around children. Never let children play with the fan.
5. The appliance could be used by children aged 8 and

above and by persons with physical, sensory or mental

impairments, or lacking in experience and knowledge as long

as they are supervised or have been given the appropriate

information on how to safely use the appliance and as long

as they understand the dangers involved with its use.

Children must not play with the appliance. Children must not

carry out cleaning or maintenance of the appliance when

unsupervised.

7. Under no circumstances should the appliance be

dismantled or repaired, as there is a risk of electric shock. If

necessary, contact the distributor or a service centre.
8. It is not advised to expose people (especially children and

elderly people) to a constant flow of cold air for long periods

of time.
9. Do not use the fan in warm or damp places, such as the

bathroom, or near a bath, shower or pool.
10. Do not leave the fan near curtains, plants etc.
11. Avoid using it in places such as the kitchen or similar, as

oil could damage the plastic parts. Splashes of oil could

cause damage and defects to the appliance.
12. Do not plug the fan into the socket until it has been

completely assembled and adjusted.
13. This unit must be placed on the ground, ensuring that the

supporting surface is flat, and that the power cord is not

close to any heat-emitting appliances.
14. The fan is only designed for domestic use indoors.
15. Do not immerse the unit in water or in any other liquid.
16. Unplug the appliance from the socket when not in use

and before cleaning or repairing it.

17. Keep the fan in a clean and dry place when not in use for

a prolonged period of time.
18. If the power cord is damaged, return it to the

manufacturer, their representative, or a similarly qualified

person. Replace it to avoid any risk.
19. Do not place heavy objects on the cables or a heat

source near them. This could damage the cables.
20. Do not use sprays (such as insecticide, lacquer, etc.) as

this could damage the exterior of the appliance.
21. In the event of abnormal situations, turn off the appliance

immediately and contact the distributor or customer service.
22. Do not use this appliance with programmers, external

timers, independent remote control systems or any other

device that can turn it on automatically.
23. Do not use mobile sockets or damaged cables.
24. When pulling out the plug, hold it firmly to avoid electric

shocks, short circuits or fires.
25. Do not secure safety switches using an adhesive tape as

this could cause a fire.
26. Do not use the appliance near flammable objects.
27. Do not touch the fan with wet hands.

28. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those

for which it has been designed. Do not use the appliance

incorrectly.
