6. Troubleshooting

Possible Causes
Solutions
WINBOT
doesn't work
glows a solid RED
Safety Pod is losing suction.
A. Press the Safety Pod firmly to see if
glows a solid
GREEN within 5 seconds.
B. Take the Safety Pod off the window and use the Finishing
Cloth to wipe it clean, then repeat Solution A.
Safety Pod Jack is not properly connected
to the Safety Pod Port on WINBOT.
Insert the Safety Pod Jack into the port, press it and turn
clockwise until it locks.
Safety Pod is in sleep mode.
Power OFF Safety Pod then power it ON again.
Safety Pod is not paired with WINBOT
(WINBOT comes with a paired Safety Pod.
If Safety Pod becomes unpaired or has
been exchanged, it can be paired again).
Within 5 seconds of powering ON WINBOT, press and hold
on WINBOT and
on the Safety Pod at the same time.
Pairing is complete when WINBOT beeps and flashes
RED and GREEN.
flashes RED
Safety Pod's battery is low.
Open the battery compartment at the bottom of Safety Pod
and change the batteries.
glows a solid RED
WINBOT is stuck or losing suction.
A. Press
on the Remote Control once and then use
to move WINBOT away (at least 10 cm/4") from the problem
area and resume cleaning.
B. Press
on the Remote Control once and then press
and hold it until glows a solid BLUE and glows a solid
GREEN. Use
to move WINBOT to a position where you
can safely reach it. Remove WINBOT from the window and
restart again.
If the problem persists, please contact customer service.
Edge Detection Sensors are blocked or
dirty.
Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe Edge Detection Sensors clean
as described in Section 4.2.
If the problem persists, please contact customer service.
flashes RED
WINBOT's battery is low.
Plug in adapter and charge WINBOT.
