7. Unlock the RCI cell
connector by pressing on the
connector’s locking tabs.

9. Remove two (2) thumbscrews.

10. Slide the RCI cell
down and out of unit.

8. Pull the connector
straight out to unplug.
REMOVING THE PURIFIER PLATE & RCI CELL
TIP: Hot water and ammonia work well
to clean your Purification Plates. Ask your
EcoQuest Dealer for more information. (See
page 8 for complete cleaning instructions.)

6. To remove the purification
plate, grasp edge of plate in
the center and gently pull out.
NOTE: If the plate is difficult to
remove, gently press down on
the lower metal contact tab.
DISPOSAL OF A USED RCI CELL
Please do not throw a used RCI cell into the
garbage. The special germicidal UVX bulb used
in the RCI cell contains a very small amount of
mercury. You may return your used RCI cell to
EcoQuest for proper disposal. Send the used
cell to:
