Horizontal left-flow
CAUTION
Do not install this air handler to horizontal left-flow when the motor speed must be TAP4 or TAP5.
Horizontal right-flow is another default factory configuration for the units. These units may be converted to
horizontal left-flow by removing indoor coil assembly with drain pan and reinstalling it as shown below.
•
Rotate the unit 90
°
into the horizontal left position, with the coil compartment on the right and the blower
compartment on the left.
•
Reinstall the indoor coil 180
°
from original position. Ensure the retaining channel is fully engaged with the
coil rail(Figure 3-2 and 3-3).
•
Secondary drain pan kits are required when the unit is configured for the horizontal position over a
finished ceiling and/or living space.
