Always place the nozzle just underneath the surface of the liquid to avoid spillings
(danger of injury)

Switch off the steam function.
Advice
After frothing the milk, release the steam into the drip tray to keep the steam nozzle holes clean.
Always clean the steam nozzle and the steam dispenser with a damp cloth after every use.
Attention:
Be careful while cleaning the steam dispenser. Avoid skin contact
(danger of injury)

Important
Refill the boiler with water after frothing the milk,.
Slightly open the steam/ hot water valve and press the pump/ hot water switch. You should hear a pump sound.
Now the machine fills the boiler with water. Release steam and hot water into a big container. Dispense steam and
hot water until a water jet is visible. Release the valve and switch off the pump/ hot water switch.
You have now reduced the boiler temperature and may restart coffee preparation.
7 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Regular and accurate care is very important for the performance, the longevity and the operational safety of your
machine.
Caution!
Always switch off the machine (power switch in lower position), disconnect the power cord and let the
machine cool down to room temperature (for at least 30 minutes) before cleaning.
7.1 General cleaning
Daily cleaning:
Portafilter, filters, water tank, drip tray and tamper require daily cleaning. Clean with water and/or with a food safe
detergent.
Clean the shower screen and the group gasket in the lower part of the brew group and remove visible dirt without
dissasembling the parts using a hard cleaning brush.
Cleaning as necessary:
Clean the steam/ hot water valve after every use.
Clean the body when the machine is switched off and cold.
Depending on usage, please refresh the boiler water every 2 – 3 weeks by operating the pump switch and extracting
about 0.35 L of hot water from the steam wand.
Use a soft and damp cloth for cleaning.
Never use abrasive or chloric detergents!
Empty the water drip tray regularly. Do not wait until it is full.
