9.17 Maps

Maps is Google's mapping service to search for places of interest.

NOTE: This application requires an active data connection and location service.

1. Tap Application Launcher > Maps.

2. Do any of the following:

• To select a nearby attractions: Tap

tap the desired category.

then

• To select a Map mode: Tap then tap

Traffic, Satellite, Terrain, Buzz, Latitude,

Restaurants, My Maps, Wikipedia, Transit

Lines, or Favorite Places.

• To find your location: Tap

• To search for a place of interest: Tap Menu >

Search then type in a keyword to begin search.

• To get direction: Tap Menu > Directions.

• To view the starred places: Tap Menu >

Starred Places.

• To clear the map: Tap Menu > Clear Map.

• Tap Menu > Latitude to share your location

with friends.

• To enable or disable a lab: Tap Menu > More >
