How to operate the DVD player

MPEG

This is an abbreviation for Moving Picture Experts Group, and is an
international standard for video compression. Some DVDs use this
format for digital compression of audio tracks also.

Linear PCM

PCM is an abbreviation for Pulse Code Modulation, and refers to a
form of digital audio. CDs and DVDs use PCM for their digital audio
tracks.
