5. INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS
5.1. Installation and wiring
Before programming and using it, the PAGENETDN unit must be connected to the
network, by means of its internal RJ45
ETHERNET interface. This one, and the rest of
connectors, are available unscrewing the bottom metal plate of the unit (3 screws must
be removed).

It must as well be supplied with DC Power, directly with PoE (Power over Ethernet),
when it is available from the Ethernet switch the unit is connected to, or by means of the
included external Power Supply, 12 VDC, 2A (EXTERNAL PSU CONNECTOR).
Additionally, there are 2 extra audio connectors available:
 AUX IN (L / R): stereo LINE input, RCA connectors. The incoming signal is
converted to mono and sent to the network using Dante
™
channel #2. This input
can be used to connect an external audio source (like a media player) and inject
it’s signal to the network in Dante
™
format
 MIC OUT (ANALOGUE AUDIO OUT): mono balanced signal (Euroblock). It’s a
copy of the microphone signal in analogue format, that enables to create paging
systems in combination with devices without Dante
™
native support.
