Fan protection
If the parameter On time cond. is set to N, the switching scheme of the fans is left unchanged. Fans
load sequentially from L1..Ln to and unload from Ln..L1. The fans here that were switched off for longer
than a configurable time

(menu 3-6) are then activated again for the duration of 20

Cycle time F.

seconds.
Run time equalisation
If the value is set to Y, the switching order for the fans is changed. The fans here are no longer loaded
and unloaded sequentially but according to the operating time. If a fan must be loaded, the fan with the
shortest operating time is switched on. If a fan must be unloaded, the fan with the longest operating
time is switched off. Furthermore, base load rotation of the fans is performed in this operating mode. If
the HP controller is in the neutral zone for a configurable time

(menu 3-6), after expiry of

Cycle time F.

this time, if available the fan with the shortest operating time will be loaded and the fan with the longest
time will be unloaded for this.

2. Parameter "Cycle time F."
A time can be entered following which, depending on the previously described operating modes, either fan
switching or base load rotation will be performed.

4.6 Cascade regulation

Introduction

The cascade is a plate-type heat exchanger between the Z1 and Z2 refrigeration circuits, using which the
condensation temperature (high-pressure) of the Z2 circuit is regulated.

The cascade can be controlled in two ways:
