11 Alarms and messages UA 412 S
The following list contains all message texts and their possible cause. Each message text has a priority that
can be set in the Alarm Priorities screen.
No.

Cause
Remedy
Hardware error
4
EEPROM Fault
A chip for saving the configuration is defective or the configuration data in
the EEPROM are not plausible.
Save parameters using the LDSWin
software,
possibly initiate first start and restore
parameters using LDSWin.
Please contact Customer Service if the
error still occurs
6
Flash Fault
The flash memory module is defective.
Please contact Customer Service -
replace device (not for UA 413 S)
8
RTC Fault
The real-time clock is defective.
Please contact Customer Service -
replace device (not for UA 413 S)
10
Battery voltage
The battery for the real-time clock and RAM backup is discharged.
Replace battery (see chapter
)

Messages
50
First start
The case controller has performed a first start (loading of the basic settings
/ sensor scan)
-
51
Power failure
Restart of the controller after a power failure.
-
120
Low temp. zone 1
Lower limit value at the monitored control sensors in Zone 1 undercut
Check parametrisation, sensors,
installation
122
High temp. zone 1
Upper limit value at the monitored control sensors in Zone 1 exceeded
Check parametrisation, sensors,
installation
125
No Defrost
No defrost within the alarm time.
Check parametrisation:
internal / external defrost timer,
defrost times, alarm delay time
126
Timer-Term.
Defrost
The defrost has been ended via the safe defrost time. Heater defective,
contactor defective, evaporator iced up.
In the case of controllers with off-cycle defriosting, it can occur
that the defrost is ended via the safe defrost time. Therefore, the
message can be displayed cyclically for these controllers without
an error having occurred.
Check parametrisation:
Low defrost end temperature
Check evaporator for icing-up
Check position of the defrost
sensor
Set defrost end temperature to "--
"
127
Manual shutdown
Digital input
has been set
manual shutdown

128
Sensor fault Fx
A sensor has been removed, a short-circuit or interference has occurred at
the sensor. The temperature at the sensor is outside the specified
measuring range.
Check connection cable, check shield or
replace affected sensor.
F1..F9 = terminal Z11/Z12..Z91/92
F10 = terminal Z01/Z02
Sensor fault A1,
A2
The message “Sensor fault A1/A2” is displayed if the parameter “AIN1” and
/or “AIN2” of the analogue inputs in menu 6-2-6 are set to “Active=Yes” but
no sensor is detected. Note: A1/A2 = analogue input AIN1/AIN2
Check connection cable
Check shield
Replace affected sensor or
set parameter "AIN1" and/or
"AIN2" in menu 6-2-6 to "AIN1/2
active=no" (not for UA 413 S)
134
Safety chain
The safety chain alarm has been tripped at the corresponding digital input.
Eliminate cause of the error in
the safety chain
