6.6.1

Global settings

The 

Global settings

 tab contains parameters and functions for configuration and operation of the Combi-Gate­

way.

6.6.1.1 Network settings

The network settings are configured under the tab

Global settings / Network.

The settings received from the network administrator can be entered in the corresponding fields. These are con­
firmed afterwards by pressing the ”OK” button.

If the network parameters have been input correctly, they are saved in the Combi Gateway.

The default network settings are shown in chapter 6.6. The network settings can be reset to default values by
resetting the Combi Gateway to the factory settings (see chapter 6.6.1.3).

As a result, it is possible that the network settings of the configuration PC and those of the Combi Gateway are
no longer compatible with each other. This results in the web-based configuration interface no longer being ac­
cessible!

NOTE: 

It is important that the 

new 

IP configuration entered is documented on the device or in its

immediate vicinity. If it is no longer possible to access the configuration interface due to a missing IP
address, this can be displayed as follows: Remove the patch cable from the Combi-Gateway during
operation – wait 5 seconds and plug back in – the IP address will now be shown in the 7 segment
display, for information on the display see chapter 6.4.
If this does not produce the desired result, continue with the steps described in chapter 6.5.1.
