6.4 Starting Combi Gateway

The following information is displayed following “conf” (configuration):
snf Stick not found – USB stick is not recognized.
Cause: The USB stick has not been plugged in, or
the plugged USB stick is not recognised, i.e. supported.
fnf File not found – A USB stick has been recognised, but no configuration file.
Cause: The file cannot be found on the USB stick,
see chapter NO TAG.
err Error – Faulty data, no changes have been made.
Cause: At least one data point within the configuration file
is outside the valid value range, see chapter 6.5.1.1.
suc Success – The configuration file has been successfully read and used.

The 7−segment display begins to cycle when operational readiness is reached. This process can last up to 5
minutes. The standard operating mode of the Combi Gateway displays the following messages:
7-segment display: circling
LED 2: : ON
In case of an error a two digit error code will be displayed,
see chapter 6.4.2 for detailed information.
The LED labelled LED 2 indicates that the Combi Gateway is able to communicate with the store computer of
the E*LDS System. The LAN gateway is now included in the monitoring of the system’s CAN bus komponents
and is subject to failure monitoring by the store computer (alternatively: operator terminal), see chapter 6.4.1.
