6-1 Disassembling chain brake

 WARNING 

DANGER

Wear eye protection and safety gloves when
disassembling or assembling chain brake to 
protect eye and hand from injury.

1. Move brake lever (A) to chain brake engaging 
position.

2. Remove sprocket guard (B) and brake lever.

NOTE

: Make sure that lever (C) is in engaging po-

sition before removing brake cover (D), otherwise 
compression spring may jump out.

3. Loosen three screws securing brake cover (D) 
and remove brake cover.

4. Inspect all the brake parts for damage. Replace 
them as required.
