MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Always unplug the plug of the power supply from the outlet prior to cleaning the kettle!
•
Wipe the outside of the appliance with a moist cloth and then wipe dry. Do not use sharp objects or
abrasives, which might damage the surface fi nish.

Remove the limescale fi lter and wash it with clean water.
Descaling
•
The frequency of descaling depends on the hardness of your water and how often you use the kettle.
•
If the appliance turns off before the water starts boiling, it is probably necessary to perform descaling.
•
Remove the limescale regularly. Do not use vinegar for this purpose. Use commercially available agents
based on citric acid, designed to remove limescale from kitchen utensils. Use only the amount specifi ed by
the manufacturer of the product.
