BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Read all the instructions in this manual.
2. Make sure the oven is off and the oven function Switch is in the OFF position.
3. Wash all accessories in hot, soapy water, then dry them thoroughly and insert them back in the oven.
4. Plug the oven into the electricity network and leave it running on empty at the highest temperature
(230 °C) in roasting mode for about 15 minutes, to eliminate any packaging residue that could have
remained upon delivering the oven. This way any initial oven odours are also eliminated.
5. Before using the oven for the first time, place cookware containing water on the hot plates and turn on to
medium level and leave the oven running for 30 minutes.
Notice:
The first use of the oven and hot plates can be accompanied by a sensitive odour and smoke (about
15 minutes). This is caused by the burning of protective compounds applied to heating units during
production.
Notice:
The surfaces between hot plates for white ovens can darken during use!
Warning:
The appliance must be connected to a separate outlet with a circuit breaker rated at loads
corresponding to the power consumption of the appliance.
