EPG (Electronic Program Guide) (in DTV mode including radio)
This TV is equipped with an electronic program guide (EPG), which allows easy orientation in e-broadcast TV
programs.
EPG is an additional service of digital television broadcasting. Provides overviews of programs on individual
programs, including the times of their beginnings and ends. In addition, in the EPG you will find a detailed
description of the individual programs and information on the accompanying services. The availability and
amount of information may vary depending on the TV or radio station. Therefore, the program guide only
appears on programs on which the respective providers broadcast it.
The electronic program guide provides information on broadcasts 7 days in advance.
Turning EPG on and off
1. Press the
EPG
button on the remote control to call up the program guide menu.
2. To turn off the EPG and return to the normal display press the
EXIT
button.
View program information
First select using the
vV
buttons the required tv program (station). Then move the selection using the
B
button to the program overview column of the selected program. Use
vV
buttons to select the required
program and press
B
to display the available information about this program.
If the program list does not appear for a program, exit the EPG, switch the TV to this program and call up the
EPG menu again. If the programs are still not displayed, it is possible that the provider of this program does not
broadcast any EPG data.
HbbTV (Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV) - "red button" (in DTV mode including radio)
HbbTV is a technology that combines the benefits of standard TV with content over the Internet. Links to text,
photos, audio or video can be synchronized with the currently broadcast program. Everything can be easily
and intuitively controlled simply by remote control. Under condition that the connection of the TV to internet
is working properly and the HbbTV function is not off in
Settings
of the TV.
You can recognize TV programs that broadcast HbbTV by the fact that when you switch to such a program, you
will be prompted on the screen to press the red (or other colored) button. The content and control of HbbTV
is determined by its provider.
Teletext
1. The teletext is switched on by pressing the
button on the remote control. When pressed, the main
teletext page is displayed, usually P100. If teletext is not broadcast on a program, the information message
PROGRAM WITHOUT TELETEXT will be displayed.
2. Use the number buttons
0–9
, arrows

vV

and colored buttons on the remote control to scroll through
teletext.
3. To end teletext, press the
, button, first the teletext is displayed together with the picture on a
transparent background (mix mode) and after the next press the teletext is switched off. You can end the
teletext directly by pressing the
EXIT
button. To switch TV programs, you must first end teletext.
Playing files from USB storage devices
The TV supports playback of multimedia files from external USB memory devices. Due to the usually large
power consumption of hard disks (USB HDD) from the USB interface, we recommend using USB FLASH
memories for reliable operation.
Press the source button on the remote control or go to the
Source
bar on the home page. Use
b
B
to select
USB
and confirm with
OK
. If more than one memory storage device is connected, select
USB1
or
USB2
.
