COMP/LIMIT - A low noise com-
pressor/limiter that works fast and
effectively, tightening up the sound and
preventing the bass head from saturating at
peaks when approaching the headroom
limit. A string may be plucked very hard
and fast, without any greater difference in
level or side effects.
The COMP/LIMIT knob sets the
compression ratio, i.e. the signal strength
relation between the input and output. The
higher ratio the more compression.
The LED intensity dynamically indi-
cates the amount of compression during
play.
COMP/LIMIT - Är en lågbrusig och
mycket snabb kompressor/limiter som
utjämnar volymtoppar likt en stötdämpare.
T.ex. så kan en sträng slås an mycket
snabbt och kraftigt utan att nivån förändras
nämnvärt från det lugna spelandet, utan
störande biljud.
COMP/LIMIT ratten bestämmer
kompressionsgraden, d.v.s. förhållandet
in/ut för kompressorn. Ju högre förhållande
desto mer kompression.
Lysdioden indikerar dynamiskt hur
mycket kompressorn arbetar när du spelar.
OCTAVER - The octave divider produces
single notes one octave below the pitch
played, adding a new dimension to the
sound. A very fast tracking design allows
fast playing techniques to be accurately
reproduced. This also permits octave notes
to be played simultaneously, while the unit
triggers on the lower note. The octaver is
designed to work with primarily the lower
and mid bands.
The OCTAVER knob sets the volume for
the ”octavided” signal, and can also be
muted with the external foot switch for
quick access to the effect while playing.

MONITOR - This knob sets the volume
for the external signal source connected to
the monitor input at the rear panel. This
source can be anything from tape, CD or
DAT recorder to monitor sections from a
mixing console.
The monitor signal is mixed with the
internal signal in the EBS-300 Gorm and is
also present for external equipment at the
LINE and LOW outputs.
Note: The balanced output on the front
never contains the signal from the monitor
section.
OCTAVER - Skapar en enskild ton en

ansluten till monitoringången på baksidan.
Du kan ansluta allt ifrån bandspelare, CD
och DAT till monitor-lyssning från
mixerbord.
Monitorsignalen är inmixad med den
interna signalen i EBS-300 Gorm och är
även tillgänglig för annan extern utrustning
på LINE och LOW utgångarna.
Not: Den balanserade utgången på
frontpanelen lämnar aldrig någon signal
från monitordelen.
