LINE OUT
- This is a fullrange output that
will drive multiple poweramps, extending
the power of the system.
Connect with advantage an external
poweramp or an active cabinet, EBS
AC300, AC311 or AC315 to this output to
easily extend the system power.

EFFECTS LOOP
– EBS Drome Classic is
provided with a serial effect loop for the use
of external units such as pedals or racks.
When connecting effects to the loop, the
internal line is bypassed and all signal
passes through the external unit and back to
the amplifier.
The loop puts the external effects after
the filter and compressor sections.

BALANCED OUTPUT
- Is a high quality
balanced output. Designed electronically
floating, which means the output always
will adapt itself when sending to an
asymmetrical device such as an unbalanced
input, to keep a correct level with high
noise immunity.
The balanced output works as a line box
for connecting to PA mixing consoles or to
studio or broadcast recording units.
Lifting ground is a great aid in many
occasions. When required, set the
Gnd Lift
switch at the rear panel to inner position to
disconnect the ground from the output.
The
Post Eq
switch on the rear selects the
signal source. In the outer position this
switch selects the overall sound included
effects, otherwise, in the inner position an
uncolored sound is taken immediately after
the input and gain sections.
LINE OUT
- Denna fullrange utgång kan
driva ytterligare slutsteg för ökad uteffekt i
större system.
Anslut gärna ett yttre slutsteg eller en aktiv
högtalarlåda, EBS AC300, AC311 eller
AC315 till den här utgången för att enkelt
öka uteffekten i systemet.

EFFECTS LOOP
– EBS Drome Classic
har även en seriell effektloop för inkoppling
av externa effekter i box eller rackformat.
När loopen kopplas till effekter bryts den
interna kopplingen och allt ljud passerar
igenom effekterna och tillbaks till
förstärkaren.
Effektloopen ligger efter filter och
kompressor.

BALANCED OUTPUT
- Är en
linjeutgång av mycket hög kvalitet. Denna
utgång innehåller en elektroniskt
flytande
balansering som vid asymmetrisk
mottagning i t.ex. en obalanserad ingång, är
självjusterande för att alltid ge en perfekt
signalöverföring.
Den balanserande utgången fungerar som
en linebox och kan anslutas till t.ex. PA-
mixers eller studioinspelningsutrustning.
Jordlyft är till stor hjälp när jordbrum
uppstår. Tryck in
Gnd Lift
omkopplaren,
som återfinns på baksidans panel för att
koppla bort jorden.
Post Eq
omkopplaren väljer vilken signal
som skall sändas. I det yttre läget tappas
hela ljudbilden av inklusive effekter, medan
i intryckt läget väljer ljudet direkt efter
ingångens GAIN kontroll.
COMP/LIMIT
- A low noise com-
pressor/limiter that works fast and
effectively, tightening up the sound and
preventing the bass head from saturating at
peaks when approaching the headroom
limit. A string may be plucked very hard
and fast, without any greater difference in
level or side effects.
The COMP/LIMIT knob sets the
compression ratio, i.e. the signal strength
relation between the input and output. The
higher the ratio the more compression.
The LED intensity dynamically indi-
cates the amount of compression during
play.
COMP/LIMIT
- Är en lågbrusig och
mycket snabb kompressor/limiter som
utjämnar volymtoppar likt en stötdämpare.
T.ex. så kan en sträng slås an mycket snabbt
och kraftigt utan att nivån förändras
nämnvärt från det lugna spelandet, utan
störande biljud.
COMP/LIMIT ratten bestämmer
kompressionsgraden, d.v.s. förhållandet
in/ut för kompressorn. Ju högre förhållande
desto mer kompression.
Lysdioden indikerar dynamiskt hur
mycket kompressorn arbetar när du spelar.
VOLUME
- Utgångsvolymen VOLUME
kontrollerar all volym genom förstärkaren
fram till slutsteget samt LINE utgången.
Den balanserade utgången (XLR) påverkas
dock ej.

PHONES
- Använd den här utgången för
att ansluta vanliga stereohörlurar till EBS
Drome Classic. Denna utgång stänger
automatiskt av slutsteget samt linjeutgången
LINE OUT.
VOLUME
- The VOLUME knob controls
all volume in the unit, controlling the
poweramp and LINE output. The balanced
output (XLR) is not effected by the setting
of this knob.

PHONES
- Use this output to connect
standard stereo headphones to the EBS
Drome Classic. This output automatically
mutes the internal poweramp/cabinet and
line output LINE OUT.
