“Intended use”.
5. Technical details / Operating limits
Operating limits are shown in the following tables.

Warning
The respective standards CEI 61-69 (EN 60335-2-
41) must be observed if using the pump set in
swimming pools or garden ponds.
6. Installation
6.1 Assembly
This is a pre-assembled, ready-to-install product which does
not require any connection work on the motor, pump or cable.
Please note that warranty can only be provided as
part of the 2-year “replacement guarantee” if the
pump set is returned in its original state. Any
interventions (e.g. modifications, alterations) of any
kind to the motor, pump or cable, shall result in the
warranty becoming void and exemption from any
liability for personal injuries and/or damage to
property or to the pump set itself.
Warning
Make sure without fail that you disconnect the power
supply before commencing any work on the pump
set. Ensure that no-one can switch the power supply
back on again inadvertently before completion of any
such work.
The following diagram shows assembly/dismantling of the pump
on the motor – in the event that this may become necessary after
the end of the warranty period (see fig. 2).
6.2 Requirements on the borehole
Check the quality of the water to be pumped before you use the
4WN borehole pump set. Dirty, contaminated, abrasive or aggres-
sive water can destroy the pump. If the quality of the water is
unknown, we recommend having a water analysis carried out and
then contacting our Technology Dept. to determine whether the
pump is suitable for pumping the water involved
(see section 5 / Tab. 1).
Damage to the pump caused by abrasive or aggres-
sive water is not covered by the warranty/guarantee.
Content substances listed here only represent guideline values
showing the maximum concentration of substances which may
be found in the water. In conjunction with other content substan-
ces, these may form a corrosive medium which could damage
