3.1 Use

Step 1
Turn on the tamper. Touch anywhere on the screen
and enter the PIN.
Step 2
Program the tamper to compress either once or
twice and to compress desired kilos.
Refer to ‘Settings’ on page 12 for how to adjust
tamping mode.
Step 3
Place ground coffee into portafilter.
Step 4
Place portafilter inside bracket (as shown in diagram
3.3).
The tamper head will lower down and press
once the portafilter hits the sensor. Preset pressure is
reached once first compression is completed in the 1
press cycle, and after the second compression in the
2 press cycle. The first compression in the 2 press
cycle represents half of the preset pressure amount.
SAFETY ALERT: Do not touch any part of the machine
while tamping is in progress.
