Recommended Checks Before Riding
Each rider should satisfy themselves that all tyres, brakes, lights, windows and mirrors
are in good condition before riding.
•
Front tyres should be inflated to 45PSI and rear tyres to 70PSI, with a suitable amount of tread remaining and
no obvious damage.
•
Brakes should be able to lock the wheels that they act on.
•
Lights should be clearly visible and functioning as designed.
•
Windows should be clear and not obstruct the view out of the vehicle.
•
Mirrors should be clean and adjusted to the correct position for each rider to see their surroundings.
•
Any required maintenance should be carried out by a qualified technician with suitable tools.
•
The vehicle should not be loaded with more than 150kg of load.
