1.3 Configurations
The following PDU configurations are possible for an output range of 30–150 kVA for
208V input models, 30–225kVA for 480V and 600V input models with K1 and K13
transformers, and 30–200kVA for 480V and 600V input models with K1, K13, and K20
transformers:

208V/208V with no transformer and:
− one or two 225A 42−circuit distribution panels
− one to eight 225A F" frame subfeed breakers
− one 225A 42−circuit distribution panel and one to four 225A F" frame
subfeed breakers
− up to four front−mounted sidecars with one or two 225A 42−circuit distribution
panels
− one or two side−mounted sidecars with one or two 225A 42−circuit distribution
panels
S
480V/208V with transformer and:
− one or two 225A 42−circuit distribution panels
− one to eight 225A F" frame subfeed breakers
− one 225A 42−circuit distribution panel and one to four 225A F" frame
subfeed breakers
− up to four front−mounted sidecars with one or two 225A 42−circuit distribution
panels
− one or two side−mounted sidecars with one or two 225A 42−circuit distribution
panels
S
600V/208V with transformer and:
− one or two 225A 42−circuit distribution panels
− one to eight 225A F" frame subfeed breakers
− one 225A 42−circuit distribution panel and one to four 225A F" frame
subfeed breakers
− up to four front−mounted sidecars with one or two 225A 42−circuit distribution
panels
− one or two side−mounted sidecars with one or two 225A 42−circuit distribution

1.4 Using This Manual
This manual describes how to install and operate the Powerware 225 kVA
Three−Phase Power Distribution Unit. Read and understand the procedures described
in this manual to help ensure trouble-free installation and operation. In particular, be
thoroughly familiar with the EPO procedure (see paragraph 6.4.4 on page 6−18) or
REPO procedure (see paragraph 6.4.5 on page 6−18).
The information in this manual is divided into sections and chapters. The system,
options, and accessories being installed dictate which parts of this manual should be
read. At a minimum, Chapters 1 through 3 and Chapter 6 should be examined.
Read through each procedure before beginning the procedure. Perform only those
procedures that apply to the PDU being installed or operated.
