Trending is part of the FDT tool respectively of the asset management software package (e.g.

field device manager), and not of the device-specific DTM.

Typically, two methods are implemented by such tools:



online trending, where a graph is displayed while the application is running



trending via a data historian server; this may require additional software licenses

and/or computers



Consult the manual of the FDT tool and asset management software package on how

to trend parameters.

Closing the DTM may take some time. The DTM will close as soon as all pending

communications between DTM and F809F module are completed.
