Settle Time
This option is available only if
Exit Mode
is set to Final Door Set, Lock Set or Exit
Terminate. This option allows you to define a time delay to allow detectors to settle before
the system sets. During this period, the sounders stop and the control unit ignores any
alarms generated by the detectors.
Enter two digits to specify a time in seconds, from 01 to 30. The default is 15 seconds to
allow radio PIRs to send all the transmissions required to indicated that they are settled.
Exit Time
This option is available only if
Exit Mode
is set to Timed Set or Silent Set. The exit time
can take any value between 10s and 120s.
Entry Time
The entry time can take any value between 10s and 120s. The entry time you select in this
option applies to full set and all part sets.
To comply with EN50131-1 Clause 8.3.8.2, maximum is 45s for Entry Time.
Alarm Response
Note:
In a part-setting system, the response for a full set is always Siren + Comms.
Internal
Internal sounders.
Siren
Internal sounders and siren.
Siren + Comms
Internal sounders, siren and communication. Note that any Siren Delay (see page
53) applies to Siren+Comms, but not Internal or Siren alarm responses.
HUA Response
This option controls the audible alarm associated with Hold-Up Alarms (HUAs).
Audible
The control unit starts HUA alarm tones from the internal sounders assigned to the
partition in which the alarm occurs, and activates any siren outputs. The sirens follow
the
Siren Time
(see page 52). The internal sounders operate until a user silences the
alarm.
Silent
The control unit keeps the HUA alarm silent: there are no alarm tones from internal
sounders and any siren outputs or HUA outputs remain inactive.
Displayed
An HUA alert message is displayed immediately (a user does not have to enter an
access code to see the message).
The control unit also starts HUA alarm tones from internal sounders allocated to
partitions in which the HUA occurred, activates siren and HUA outputs assigned to
the partition.
