8.2.6.1 Setting retentive behaviour
Requirement:
The easy800 device must be in STOP mode.
▶
Press DEL and ALT simultaneously to switch from the status display to
the system menu.
The devices are factory set with no retentive actual value data selected.
All actual values are therefore deleted if the easy800 device is switched to
STOP mode or de-energized.
▶
Switch to STOP mode.
▶
Switch to the system menu.
▶
Enter the system menu via STD PARAMETERS and then on to the
RETENTION… menu.
▶
Press the OK pushbutton.
The first screen that appears is a selection dialog for operand marker bytes
(MB). The display on the lower right
B:200
indicates the number of free
bytes.
▶
Use
ÍÚ
to select the operand.
▶
Press OK to access the Entry modes.
•
ú í
Select position from to.
•
ÍÚ
Set a value.
▶
If necessary select the next operand.
In all, you can select six different operand ranges.
Example:
MB 01 to MB 04, C 12 to C 16, DB 01 to DB 16, T 08 to T 14 should be
retentive.
124 bytes have been assigned to the retentive data range. 76 bytes are still
available.
▶
Select the RETAIN MARKERS option if you wish to retain the retentive
actual values when transferring the circuit diagram from easySoft-Pro or
the memory card to the easy800 device.
CAUTION
The retentive data is stored every time the supply voltage is
switched off and read when the supply voltage is switched on.
The data integrity of the memory is guaranteed for 10
12
write-
read cycles with easy800 standard and 10
14
write-read cycles
with easy800-SWD.
→
If the easy800 device is password protected, the System menu
is only accessible after the easy800 device has been unlocked
