in the building wiring installation. Please refer to the table in Page 9 for the disconnect
device specification.
★ For three-phase equipment connection to an IT power system, a four-pole device which
disconnects all phase conductors and the neutral conductor should be provided in the
building wiring installation.
1.2
Operation:
★
Do not disconnect the mains cable on the UPS or the building wiring socket (grounded
shockproof socket) during operation as this would remove the ground to the UPS and of
all connected loads.
★
The UPS output socket or output terminal block may be electrically active even if the
UPS system is not connected to the building wiring terminal.
★ In order to fully disconnect the UPS, first press the Standby button, the UPS will switch to
Bypass mode, then disconnect the mains power.
★
Make sure that no liquid or other foreign objects enter the UPS.
1.3
Maintenance:
★ The UPS operates with hazardous voltages. Repairs should be carried out only by the
qualified maintenance personnel.
★
Disconnect the batteries before carrying out any kind of service and maintenance.
Confirm that there is no electrical charge in the capacitor or BUS capacitor terminals.
★ Caution - risk of electric shock. The battery circuit is not isolated from the input voltage.
Hazardous voltages may occur between the battery terminals and the ground. Verify that
no voltage is present before operation!
★ Please replace the fuse of the same type and amperage in order to avoid fire hazards.
★ Batteries have a high short-circuit current and pose a risk of shock. Take precautionary
measures specified below when working with batteries:
－
remove all jewellery, wristwatches, rings and other metal objects
－
only use tools with insulated handles.
★
Replace the batteries with the same quantity and the same type.
★
Do not attempt to dispose of batteries in a fire. It could cause an explosion.
★
Do not open or destroy batteries. They contain an electrolyte which in harmful to the skin
and eyes.
★
Do not dismantle the UPS and battery, except the qualified maintenance personnel.
1.4
Delivery:
★
Please ship the UPS only in the original packaging to avoid transit damage.
