DB4BM WIRING WITH OPTIONAL CAP AND/OR PPTC
Connect the 100V line connections to terminals marked
‘line’ on the PCB, looping out as required.
Use supplied flying lead along with the common loop-in,
loop-out connections to select the required power level
(see section 4 for tapping table)
OPERATION
The line voltage and power rating of the unit is stated on the unit label. The speaker is available in 3 standard power
ratings 8 watts, 15 watts & 25 watts. Different sound levels can be obtained by selecting the transformer tapping in the
unit. See table below for details.
Alternatively, if requested when ordered, the unit can be supplied with a direct 8Ohm connection to the driver for
connecting to a suitable audio source.

WARNING
The unit has a certified upper operating temperature limit of +85°C, however continuous operation of 25W &
15W units is not recommended in ambient temperatures above +70°
C
