Note: If your unit is equipped with vibration dampers, a minimum of 30 mm
clearance is recommended on both sides of the cabinet to avoid the vibrating
cabinet hitting any paralleled UPS or accessory cabinets.
3.4.4
Other options
Other available options include seismic brackets and a ventilation nozzle. The
ventilation plate comes with a 160 mm ventilation nozzle that can be installed on
top of the cabinet. When the optional ventilation nozzle is installed, the air inlets
and outlets at the rear panel of the cabinet can be blocked. For more information
about these options, contact the Eaton sales representative.
3.5 How to unpack and unload the accessory cabinets
For transportation purposes, the accessory cabinet is bolted onto a wooden
pallet or two wooden beams. To remove the pallet or beams, perform one of the
following procedures, depending on the composition of your cabinet. There are
three options for unpacking and unloading the accessory cabinets:
• How to unpack and unload the EBC-F and TFC-A with casters
• How to unpack and unload the EBC-G with casters
• How to unpack and unload all accessory cabinets with vibration dampers
For more information about these options, see Sections
.
Before you start to unpack and unload the accessory cabinets, check the
TipNTell / DropNTell indicator on the package surface (see Section
step
2). If the equipment has been correctly transported in the upright position, the
indicator should be intact. If the indicator arrow has turned all blue, contact the
appropriate parties to report inappropriate transportation.
