1.1 Use as intended
easy Remote Touch display are primarily intended for use in machine and system buil-
ding applications. More specifically, they are intended exclusively for monitoring and
operating easyE4 control relays. Use cases with remote access are not part of the
intended applications for the easy-RTD. However, the easyE4 control relay can be
remotely accessed using the actual control relay's functions, such as the web server
feature.
Any other use must be discussed and agreed upon with the manufacturer in
advance.
The easy-RTD are approved for use in closed spaces.
Bid
The easy-RTD must be used only in locations for which the easyE4 is
approved. Make sure to read and follow the information and labels on
the nameplate for the easy-RTD, as well as section Approvals and
declarations in the appendix.
Prohibited uses, actions, etc.
It is strictly prohibited to use the device in order to implement safety-
relevant functions (in the sense of personal and machine protection).
