1)
Turn on the incoming cold water at the angle stop valve. Open the needle
valve on the Adapta Valve by turning counter clockwise. Check the system for
leaks and tighten any fitting as necessary.
Check frequently over the next 24
hours to ensure no leaks are present.

If system is connected to an icemaker, do not allow water to flow to the
ice maker until step 5, “flushing”, is complete and the tank has been filled
completely. Tee off from the line from the RO to the faucet to run a line to the
icemaker. The line from the RO to the icemaker should have an in-line shutoff
valve installed to prevent water from flowing to the icemaker during start up
and routine maintenance. The RO tank must first be filled for the icemaker to
work properly.
3)
Open the RevitaLife faucet and leave open until water begins to trickle out
slowly, then close the faucet.
4)
The tank may take approximately 2 hours to fill completely, depending upon
the RO membrane, water temperature and water pressure.
5)
After the tank has filled, open the faucet until the tank empties. Carbon
fines, or slightly grayish water, may be present. Flush the tank, by
repeating this process, 3 times. This is only during initial installation.
Start Up Instructions
Storage Tank Sanitization
1)
Turn off the incoming water supply at the Adapta Valve.
2)
Open the faucet, allow the tank to empty, then close the faucet.
3)
Remove the tubing between the tank and the RO unit.
4)
Drain the water from the tubing and inject one teaspoon of household bleach
into the tubing.
5)
Reinstall the tubing between the tank and the RO unit.
6)
Turn on the water supply at the Adapta Valve.
7)
Allow the RO tank to fill, open faucet and drain the tank, then close the faucet
